Water & Sewer
The Village of Denton provides the following services: water, sewer. Electric and garbage pick-up are provided by outside companies. Meters measure monthly usage for water and sewer charges to be billed. Meters are read between the 20th and 30th of the Month. Penalties are assessed on the remaining account balanced after the 20th of the month.
Acceptable Payments
The Village of Denton accepts cash, money orders, personal checks, checks from other financial institutions and debit/credit cards. Payments can be made in person, by mail, online, or dropped in the office drop box located by the front door.
If a debit or credit card or an electronic check is used, an additional fee is applied to the person's financial account:
- Credit Card- 2.49% of amount paid
- Debit Card- $2.95 flat fee
- Electronic Check - $1.75 flat fee.
